Dohun Lee believes cinematography is an odysseyβ€”an ever-evolving journey filled with encounters, challenges, and stories waiting to be captured.
Based in Seoul, South Korea, Lee earned his MFA in Cinematography at the Korea National University of Arts. His work spans narrative films, commercials, fashion films, and documentaries, moving fluidly between formats while maintaining a strong sensitivity to visual storytelling.
His cinematography on the feature film Your Everything was presented at Canneseries, marking an important step in his journey within the international film landscape.
Lee has collaborated on a wide range of productions, including projects with Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime, as well as global brands such as Hermès, Louis Vuitton, KIA, and Hyundai.
Whether working as a Director of Photography or as part of international camera teams, Lee approaches each project with a focus on emotional nuance, spatial awareness, and the relationship between image and performance.
For Lee, every project is another step in the Odysseyβ€”a continuous exploration of how images can deepen the experience of a story.
